Course Aims

The public first course is designed for the general public wishing to receive knowledge in first aid and what to do in an emergency. The course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare participants to administer emergency first aid care. You will learn a high level of practical skill so that you can deal competently with common  emergency situation at home or at work.

  1. An introduction to First Aid
  2. Casualty Assessment
  3. Heart Disease
  4. CPR/AED and Choking Adults
  5. Wounds and Bleeding
  6. Altered levels of consciousness
  7. Musculoskeletal Injuries
  8. Burns/Scalds/Poisons


All participants will receive a Full Certificate from First Aid Direct, valid for 2 years.

  • What do I need to bring?- Nothing but yourself and wear comfortable clothing and footwear

  • Is there parking- Yes plenty!


Participants will be issued with Full Certification from First Aid Direct and is valid for 2 years.
